I just see him as a complementary player with nothing to complement

I think he's good. I see more in him than i do in Gordon. He's a year older. Similar age, i think McNeil has more about him. And while he's not as fast as Gordon, he's by no means slow, which seems to be the number 1 criticism of him at the moment. He needs the same time to settle as anyone else would, not 3 games played out of position in a team struggling for goals with no centre forward.

The stick he is getting at the moment is so over the top and uncalled for. I think some of our fans could do with calming down a bit.

I’m just joking with the whole Dwight McNeil super fan thing to counteract all the negativity, but I do like and appreciate his qualities. I think he loses a perception battle because he doesn’t seem to be running everywhere all the time, but that’s because he has better vision and positioning and people who are less dramatic tend to be accused of laziness and slowness.
