If a player’s going to have a bad game, I’d rather he scored to be honest.

Lots of graft and enough technical ability. Hard to truly fault someone who has 120 minutes of hard running football in him week in, week out. Plenty to be said about the shuffle he does to try to create space for a cross though.

Came here to say the same, I absolutely love that about him. He smashes in worldys and then gives it the big un in front of the opposition fans - top lad

I said in the match day thread he’s been a one in three winger for us since signing except what he did was be crap for half a season last year, great for the second half of last season and then crap again this season (other than hard defensive work).

Hopefully yesterday is the turning point, was unlucky not to score in the first half and then the second half he took up more of a free role popping up in different positions and really influencing the game. Great goal as well.
