Yeah but it will then compare him in your scenario to players that play deeper than him so if you're not a fan of comparing him to AM/Wingers then it would be unfair to say you're a fan of comparing him to midfielders. It's one of the main faults with fbref, despite being a generally good baseline tool for analytics.
