Under-23s coach Mike Jackson, assisted by academy director Paul Jenkins, Under-23s goalkeeping coach Connor King and club captain Ben Mee have been asked to take charge of the team for Sunday's game with West Ham United....


No plan in place by the looks of it.
Absolute madness.
They deserve to plummet to the absolute depths of the leagues for their stupidity.

You only tend to get a new manager bounce when a team has downed tools for a manager. This isn't the case with Burnley, they just seem to lack quality. It's madness they have sacked him, he would give them the best chance of both staying up and going back up next season and has been one of the best managers in their history. He managed to win a vital game just a week or so ago against us. Then their lack of quality showed against Norwich away, not much he could do about that.

There has been talk of him losing the dressing room also the fans had started to turn against him

I'd be interested to see how Dyche fairs with a half decent team and some actual money to spend.

Very strange decision to punt your manager on with only 8 games to go, but footy is a strange game and this could actually give them one final push to save themselves.

Heard they've lined up Benitez. Our season could be capped off by him actually relegating us!

Dyche won't be that easily replaced there. He's the driving force behind that team... look how he got them going at half time v us. Ridiculous sacking.
