I am quite astonished at people actually defending Dyche and making him out as a saviour. He has to be one of the most obnoxious and least talented managers in our history. Horrible football on the level of Allardyche (clue is in the name). Staying up with Dyche isn't something to heap praise on him.......should question why we weren't safer earlier. It has been proven since that the players were not as bad as he told everyone and has since been on display that he couldn't handle the job and out of his depth because those same players minus the injuries are unbeaten in 9 and now 17 pts clear of relegation rather than the 1 pt Dyche left us in. All on the manager not the players

We are talking about league games because you don't get 3 points for an FA Cup game. You are spot on that we were lucky we got wins after 4 long months the month prior to season ending. Why keep us biting our finger nails as he did at Burnley almost every season? Because he will always stick to his type of football which isn't condusive to the PL. He is just tossing a coin on outcomes, no progressive plan and to stay in the PL for Dyche is success and win win despite more than 3 poorer teams. He is obsolete.
I know you love him and rate him but you are in the minority. If we hung onto him to please you then we would still be biting our nails unnecessarily.

He was far from steady but unexciting is an understatement. Probably right that he wouldn't have took us down but damned if I am going to give him credit for that given the poorness of the PL. Moyes has improved us but I don't think it would have been hard regardless who came in with the squad of players we have. Not the best squad but nowhere near relegation battles, but most of us knew that already
