I think it's definitely gotten to the point where he's holding us back rather than helping us remain safe.

I disagree actually
Fair play to him, he achieved his mandate twice over by keeping us in the league under difficult conditions
We are probably the biggest club he’s ever going to manage (no offence intended to Burnley)
He did well enough, there that he arguably earned the right to have a go at a club the size of Everton
It was always going to take a crisis for a club, our size to give him an opportunity. We are in the midst of a very serious crisis and he has done his fair share to keep the boat afloat during very turbulent times
That all being said, it’s pretty clear that he’s reached his ceiling and he’s out of ideas. That means he has to go but it doesn’t mean that he shouldn’t have been given the chance originally Imo
