Alcaraz, Atsu and possibly even Barkley need to come off, their midfield is getting way too much time and space to lob a ball in

We have fell back into the habits which has cost us this season and that is trying to defend the box rather than mixing it 10-20 yards in front of the box. Too much space and time to think and choose where they want to pass it. We are allowing them to dictate and do want they want.

1st goal was just a great effort from Yarmolenko, next two were awful defending all around. 2nd goal was as much at atsu's fault as alcaraz who was been by far our worst player atm, almost gave up another one but howard made a decent save.

disagree, he got back to cover the right back position. it was a clear and hope. we had another couple of chances to clear after that but at least he tracked back to try and help us out.

......I've said this before, but it really looks like we don't coach our back 4. Real lack of shape and organisation, as though defence doesn't matter and defenders should know what to do. I know Alcaraz has been poor but Coleman has been a bit headless back there. Lot's to criticise but time to put it right.

Coleman standing 3-4 yards away from the feller who volleys it there trying to block it. Could've just closed him down and stopped him getting the shot off easily.

Crap defending from him, Jagielka and Alcaraz (main culprit). If Alcaraz doesn't come off for Stones there then we're out.
