Jan Mucha. We brought him in on a free to kick the ball towards Howard so he could catch or parry it in front of the Gwladys St most Saturdays. Seemed effective at it and then got tucked up inside his big coat to watch the action from the bench. Not bad work for £25k a week or whatever he negotiated. Think he also covered for us in a few Prem games as well as his appearance in our usual early exits from any League Cup games. He was most remembered by me for getting pulled for driving when disqualified but his solicitor explained he never read any mail and wouldn’t be in the country for any subsequent community service as his contract was expiring. Easily forgotten for any on pitch contribution but like many other imports did enough off the pitch to get a mention!

Literally spoke about him a lot in the Pickford thread this morning.

He was amazing in that City game. But did little else.

But somehow played 2 games for Hamilton Academicals this season!

Good grief

6 in 19, almost a 1 in 3 striker for us. Saw him play in one of the first games I went to live as a nipper, remember he scored.
