well I'm glad that Valencia has been given a start. Not surprised to see Barkley been given a game. A chance for McCarthy in his preferred position to show what he can offer and it could easily have been any one of Williams or Mori to be dropped so not surprised to see Jags back in after hopefully a rest that will have done him good.

all I'm asking for tonight is some effort and that we give them a game, win lose or draw I want those players walking off to the sound of clapping from the home fans as that will mean they've put a shift in.
