Ladies and gentlemen. The world manager of the year is...Jurgen Klopp. Finished 4th in the league and just lost his 6th successive final. Guardiola won premier league with record points. Zidane just won his third champions league final. Valverde nearly had an invisible season at Barcelona, lost only one game. No we’ll give it to klopp.

You have to laugh. I think

The more they persist with finding ridiculous excuses and conspiracies as to why they didn’t win the more they fail to address the core reasons why they’ve not won the league in over a quarter of a century. Their title challenge was over by October yet not one of them seemed bothered for some reason. Another trophyless season and they’ve all come away buzzing. It’s called managed decline.

Klopp doesn't need to win anything to be a winner.

Ramos and his family receive death threats from Murder Incorporated.

...of course they did. Did anyone ever believe they wouldn't?

Have you read the article though ? I’m sure it shouldn’t surprise you but this particular paragraph leapt out from the Red Echo

“Egypt football fans have not been shy to demonstrate their anger towards Ramos “

Those darn Egyptians threatening Ramos .

I'm just happy that the Egyptian King will put himself through the pain barrier for his country but will walk off the pitch in a CL final for Liverpool.

Talk about worshipping a false God.

Haha, could've died though, you do know that, that's two Liverpool players that could have been at deaths door this season alone. :coffee:

You just know that the Kult are all thinking that very same thing: that he had f.a. wrong with him that many other players down the years have had and played on with. They're in the awkward position of knowing he left them to the Real Madrid mauling because he values his Egyptian WC more than their CL chances, but they have so much emotional capital invested in him now that they cant complain out loud.

Mark my words though: they will have locked that incident away in the vault ready to wheel out if he puts in a transfer request/loses form in the near future.

He put himself through the pain barrier for Mourinho that sunny day in 2014 at Anfield. Was brilliant that day for Chelsea. Remains his only significant contribution to the LFC trophy cabinet.

He can’t win next season. Even without a World Cup hangover he’s unlikely to hit the same number of goals again. Unless he fires them to a trophy win the knives will be out no question.
