Bloody hell, lads. This thread reminds me of how a scenario where a much older, plug ugly, fat, useless jailbird half brother would go on to his cell mates about how much he hopes his younger, drop dead gorgeous, fit, successful rock star half sibling gets his head kicked in! :) Seriously, are people happy about fellow human beings (let alone fellow Scousers) getting beat up and ripped off? Sake, lads. It's a game!!!

Exactly! I'll be in town tomorrow night as usual. If (God forbid,) I get caught up in some bell end kick off and injured I'd like to think that people weren't waiting to find out who I support before deciding whether I was a victim or deserved it!

It’s gotten pretty sad tbh. This is what happens when a fan base has had their noses rubbed in the dirt for so long. They become bitter.

Liverpool doesn’t even view us as a rival anymore. Klopp has tried to play down the derby games by resting players and making sure that none of them get injured. He knows that our fans are calling for cheap shots and the players are vying for revenge from years of getting bummed by the reds.

We need to improve our derby record big time, but this nonsense has gotten out of hand. It reflects so poorly on us that we are so obsessed with them failing as opposed to achieving our own success.
