ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I was delighted by City yesterday, avoided extra time and the morale boost of that comeback, no matter who the opposition, will be massive for them. I've said it before, there's no training session to beat a confidence building win. They must be nailed on favourites for the Cup now, and it's just two extra games, against mid table opposition at best. Hardly a pile-up.

It would have been far worse if they'd gone out at this stage. The quadruple is getting close enough for them to smell it now

That was a blow. Two points gifted to them by the GK. It was a dive by Mane, but the ref was handed a decision and took it gratefully.

It's why I've made Liverpool favourites since they went in front at Christmas.

City have taken too much on and will be beaten again, possibly in the next game up and that lot wont look back.

It’s why I’ve said that Liverpool need to lose it rather than City win it because if City look like being on course to win out there will be an establishment stitch up to deny them in one game (probably the United derby). A close race and a Liverpool won is what everyone in premier league and Sky HQ dreams of. We only have to remember the absolutely shameful refereeing throughout 13/14 and also during parts of this season.

It'll be down to Spurs and Chelsea to take points off them. They win those two I reckon they'll win the league tbh

Not disagreeing with those but I actually have Southampton away as one I'm hopeful they will drop points in. They are really stuttering away. Not being beaten but not convincing either including against a poor Fulham. They get to their last 4 still in the race and they'll win it.
