Sorry, "We" are screwed? Why? Your head would have fallen off in the 70s....worry about our own situation. I don't want them to win it but I've been through it all before....

So you think them winning league titles whilst we bumble about in the bottom half isnt us being screwed?

Interesting.

You have a very weird obsession with anything and everything they do, or in this case haven't done yet. If they win it, they win it because they have turned out to be the better team over the season, if they don't it's because City have proved their championship quality was too much of a hurdle to overcome. Either way it's not going to affect my, or many others, day to day life

These early games are sometimes abit of a suprise and take a while to get going

Would like to think pep wont let this happen..

Blue mooooooon

Considering I barely ever post in here whilst most who have responded tend to live in this thread I dont know where you get this "obsession" from. Sigh more forum myths like how I said chelsea would beat us (despite in the match thread predicting a 1-0 Everton win).

If you live or work in the city then that lot winning the title whilst we linger in the bottom half would be a disaster to the fans and the club - let's not pretend otherwise.

I have family and co workers who are reds, my kids get hammered off RS fans in school as it is without them actually winning something. The whole EFC aim of getting BMD and overtime trying to become equals to them in the city also is damaged by them being successful and us not.

Obviously if they win it fair play they deserve it but it would still be hard to take hence all the bed wetting and cheer leading of Man City from half of GOT on this thread all season.

I agree with mellowblue. Liverpool winning or not winning the league has sod all to do with us as a club.

It's about having to share a city with them.

If they win any silverware this year, life will be unbearable, and the Kult will become stronger.

If they fail to win anything, we can remind them that they 'were gonna win all 4 trophies' a few months ago.

;)

It has zero bearing on us, and for the record I live as close as you can get save for adjacent roading from both grounds.

Yeah, I know. The thing is, we can remind them that they were going to win everything, but they’ll just remind us that we are crap and haven’t won’t anything since the 90s. It’s incredibly boring and the reason why I avoid talking footy with them whenever possible.
