ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Thing is about the slip, is that everybody just focuses on that as if it was just handed on a plate to Ba, when he still had a lot of work to do. With two opponents closing in and the keeper rushing out to him that was a fantastic finish, but to listen to Tyler you'd think he'd had the ball simply dropped to him on the line like Origi. All he says is a resigned acknowledgement, as if it's all so unfair, while he gives it the big 'of all people' thing. If Ba slipped to let Gerrard in it would have been 'GERRRRRRARRRRRDDD!!!!!' and stuff like 'Taking advantage brilliantly there, and leading Liverpool to glory'.

I remember way back when we played Woking in the cup and it was switched to Goodison, we were fed the story that Tyler was a massive Woking fan, and had no allegiance to a league team. Yep, just like Alan Green, just like Clive Tyldesley, they all claimed the 'unbiased' thing at one time or another. It's like a nest of vampires in the media.

Completely agree mate. Tyler's the worse.
Every time the RS score when he's commentating, it sounds like he just spunked all over the commentating room and he's drowning in it!

Rather just put the telly on mute... FFS!

The reds in my family of that generation always seemed to respect smith as a tough player, but had no great love of him. Much like emlyn hughes he seemed to be a bit too much in love with himself and had questionable views/allegiances.

My mum met him once. Him and Heighway and some other guy, McDermott? Heighway was her fave though.

The slip saves some grace for him, he mis-controlled it because of his poor technique, a ball a five year old could haven controlled. He took his eye off it, just like he took his eye off the title and wilted and succumbed to the pressures he'd placed on himself for never winning the title and the fans had placed on him and all other places. The slip just meant he definitely couldn't get back in time, he'd have never got back to stop ba anyway, the miscontrol was the poor bit of play which cost them the title.

This thread hahahahah

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, it's taking you a whole year of crying about the champions league final before returning. Couple of weeks when you'll be crying again we may see you again a few years later hahaha

grow up, don't be a baby, either post through the thick and thin or don't post at all, because to us all, this reads like you're a massive glory hunter.

Is this one actually a red or just another "blue that wants other blues to give them the praise they need at all times"
