ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Please stop this, tonight was the night you’d marked down as their coronation.

Tbh up until the Palace away game I had Liverpool as favourites but after that I had City winning all of them until De Bruyne went down injured and now it’s nervy again. Especially if the kopite powers that be decide to cite Silva for a high foot and Van him for the last 3 games and Fernandinho is crocked too.

As I've said all along, Newcastle and Wolves will be hard games. Everyone needs to remain calm. I could see them slipping up in both.
If they slip up in one it'll be curtains.

I still think City will slip up, btw. We need Liverpool to slip up.
A plague on both your houses.

Ha Ha Ha.

Currently being burned in some bin.

Hope Barcelona take the scum into ET second leg and win on pens.

How great would it be if the FSW took points off them, btw?!

Amazing seeing as he was the toast of the town and a favourite when they beat City. Be brilliant if he ended their hopes of the title before a Coutinho/Suarez double ended their CL hopes 3 days later, just to add some salt.

Well then

Just don’t get complacent Citeh
This. They're now just three very winnable games away from being crowned Champions with no CL to think about. The finish line is in sight.

They're the best football team in the country by a distance and have compounded it within the last couple of weeks - they need to just continue being themselves and it's all wrapped up.

Will be interesting to see how Klopp balances the league games with the CL. Does he gamble resting players for Huddersfield knowing that Barcelona will be resting their whole 11, or will he rest players at the Nou Camp hoping that he can get the win at Newcastle.

Or will he just keep playing the same juiced up 11 in every single game knowing not one of them will feel the slightest fatigue or pick up any injury.

Burnley (as I've also said) is the big worry for me. It always was. United are gone. I called that weeks ago, they are gone and going out the champions league has hastened that particular decline. Spurs winning in the CL was perfect.

Burnley is a big worry for me. Like Newcastle and Wolves, they will be fresh and fighting for every ball.

Fortunately Leicester look to have gone off the boil so that should be ok. Brighton and Huddersfield will be parades.

City by 2/3 for me.

Ha Ha. Yeah. Never thought of that.

Whoever is top going into the last game of the season wins it. Struggling to ever remember a team not top come the last game of the season win the league. The only time I can remember was when it's up for grabs now......

I'm not convinced mate. Wolves are very very good against the top 6. I think they will get a result at Anfield, whoever goes in top. They are very well set up against the top teams and have caused them all problems. There's a reason for that.

Big point for Burnley last night, I think they'll be ripe for a good beating if City can click into gear.

I happen to think Benitez will try to beat them. Carragher made a decent point, that given he didn't win a title he'd probably not want to see someone else do it. He has got results there before when they were vaguely in the hunt. He's won trophies with Chelsea (he may well have knocked them out of a cup). He may be many things, but he's capable and willing to get a result there. It would be a massive scalp for him too, and to be fair absolutely hilarious. Back to being public enemy number 1 for Rafael like when they hounded him out.
