He's been named and shamed in the Echo

Problem is by the end of the week he'll be a cross between Nelson Mandela/Mother Theresa and Bob Geldof. His amazing array of charity work shall be flung before him like an Elizabethan cloak over a muddy puddle enabling him not to get his feet dirty, whilst hoards of internet warriors and echo journalists look for evidence, (real and imagined) of skullduggery at the poor lads who soft-ollies vented his rather rubbish wrath at.
He'll be on the pitch last game of the season recieving a medal from Pete Price and Cilla Black's ghost for saving many, many Liverpool fans from the indignity of buying warm beers of the "Monsters of Barcelona Square".... Rats

If Van Dijk played for any of the other top 6 teams do you reckon he’d be labelled the best defender in the world? This is a guy who has only played 1 and a half seasons in a decent team, has only just started off on his international career also. He’s won the square root of nothing with Southampton Liverpool and Holland yet in a short space of time has seemingly propelled himself ahead of the likes of Ramos Varane Umtiti Hummels etc. who are all sat at home polishing their World Cup and champions league medals.

He’s a very good defender but is prone to go walkabout as he’s done numerous times this season but has been fortunate that they’ve largely gone unpunished except for the CL group stage. Hopefully Messi shows him up tonight for what he is.

His jabs in the media at Sergio Ramos this season were actually adorable, like a five year old trying to box Mike Tyson.

"In the World" is the typical label attached to any half decent player at that lot. That said, he is very very good, at what he does. If thats because he commands the Liverpool defence in such a way that they concede few goals, or because most sides dont attack them that much, more regular viewers of their games than me are welcome to comment.

Put is this way, when we played them, I dont think our failure to score at the pit was cos of him.

Forgive me for stating the obvious but shouldn't these followers of the cult, who like to bore us all with details of their many, many European adventures, have at least some idea of how to behave in another country?
Just saying....
Hang on a sec; it's a clear case of unprovoked police brutality....again!
Ashamed of nothing, offended by everything. I wonder what that is in Latin for their badge next season?

Pudet nihil, offensus est

Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore tweeted:
“By all means have a good time, but we are Liverpool and as such, let’s visit here with grace and humility”.

I believe that he kept a straight face as he posted.
Their weird fans buy shirts.
Their weird fans buy expensive tickets.
Their weird fans make that club loads of money.

For the chief executive he wants that cult type behaviour.

Not even deaths can stop them.

Lets hope tonight Lionel Messi can however..

Apparently Durham on talk sport had him in his top 5 Dutch players of all time the other day. At 3. lol
