I read about quarter of the way through and had to stop.

That is scary levels of madness....and the thoughts that I might be living cheek by jowl with people as brainwashed and lacking a proper life the way the author obviously is fills me with dread.
 

i said before the game that barça would score at least twice in each leg. 3-0 was a perfect result.

its funny but Barça didnt have a great game. Valverde isnt the most popular of coaches with a lot of fans as he can be very conservative and more risk averse than the usual controlled passing game they play. couple of comments calling him a coward for the set up last night. I would normally firmly believe they should try to stick to tradition but for this tie i just wanted them through in any way possible. and also want another couple champs lge titles for Messi at least before he retires.

however i think his tactics only looked bad because basically Coutinho had a stinker. Rakitic and Vidal will not take and keep possession well with their back to goal and Coutinho flopped in doing his share of getting the team up the pitch. the sub didnt help in that respect either.

point is though I am sure that with the pressure off and a 3 goal cushion he will be less cautious and Arthur will start in the next leg. Vidal out. Semedo will probably start too. With Arthur in it should help change possession from back to front quickly and take advantage of the RS piling forward. Then also helping to keep possession for longer periods to kill any momentum, Expecting a win now.

Cmon newcastle and city in the meantime!

I read right up to the bit "after we left the pub after the match" and pissed myself laughing lol

So got about 7 lines in and then realised after 7 lines of him trying to be all poetic and edgy he was probably sat in a Weatherspoons with his half a pint, waiting for his chips with melted cheese on.

Coutinho was awful wasn't he mate. He's got no backbone that kid, a very little fish in a massive pond so no surprises. Thought Vidal was poor. Semedo coming on gave them a whole host of new problems

An average performance from Barca, just a typical run of the mill 3-0 win and I'll take that every single day of the week against that shower ;)

I actually live in Rochester. Now Everton bars here, so usually just at home lol.

We have a damn CP bar and RS one and that's it. That I know of.
 

While the “safety first”part of me wants them to lose to Newcastle to hopefully kill any chance of them winning the league stone dead, and not have to worry...

There would be something pretty sweet about them and City both winning their last two games.

Because then, after all their “Pickford is going to win the league for us” talk... it would actually be US that stopped them winning the league, as we’d be the last game they didn’t take 3pts from
