I think the key now is that Liverpool are denied the title they wanted and then it becomes a massive imperative for them to get the CL as consolation. The pressure will be there for the final of that and a very good team awaits them for a one off game.

City winning on Sunday is all I;m really arsed about right now. The CL will take care of itself and is for another day.

Tell you what dave, what you've posted here actually makes me feel slightly better. They've had a fantastic result against Barca tonight, but at the end of the day they still haven't won anything yet, and could still finish the season potless.

Once sunday's over the reality kicks in for them: 90 minutes to make the season a success.

60/40 in their favour whoever they meet in the final. I'll take that. Finals are odd games.

All I'm remotely arsed about at this point is that they lose the title.
