The stats were from April so he (Salah) did add a few more goals and assist, but I also expect that Ronaldo added to his own career statistics.

Either way, when ever my friends who support that shower talk about the comparing the two I simply show them this - there's no comparison.
Holy Moly, Ronaldo stats are mind blowing.

It's stuff like the drivel Tomkins churns out that cocoons that lot in the world they inhabit: everyone is against them and they represent a shining beacon for world football...despite the authorities conspiring as much as they can to hand them victories and their murderous history.
I can sense we're in agreement here.

Review of "BOOM!" on Amazon nails it:

7 June 2018
Format: Kindle Edition
Football fans are always going to have biases towards the club they support but this book clearly takes it to a level i've never seen before. I read the Amazon book description and nearly had a breakdown. 'As money increasingly dominates the Premier League landscape, Jürgen Klopp proved once again that he can take undervalued resources and create a thrilling team' £75 million on Virgil van dijk, a worldwide record for a defender. Not to mention the £40 million for Salah, £35 million for chamberlian, Keita will join next season for £60 million and Fabinho for £45 million. Also lets not forget Mane cost £40 million and Wijnaldum £25 million. So this suggestion that he does not have the resources that other managers do is absolutely laughable and false. 'Liverpool were 40-1 outsiders at the outset, with a team of misfits, rejects, journeymen and discards' I can gurantee the same person that wrote this predicted Liverpool will win the league this season because after all 'this is there year', it always is. I remember clearly at the start of the season a lot of there ex players on TV predicting what a great season they will have, every football show you turn on they're giving it the big one. This also just gives a false impression that Jurgen Klopp is some sort of mastermind. If you look at it objectively, he finished with less points then he did last season which means they have gone backwards, he also still hasn't won a trophy, even though he has been there for 2 years and 8 months. What Pochetiono has done at Spurs has surpassed what little Klopp has done. He has made them a top 4 team on a minimul budget, yet he gets ripped apart for not winning a trophy. Klopp on the other hand is treated as some sort of Savior. Unfortunatly, the media are so far up Liverpool and Klopps backside that even if they got relegated there wont be any criticism of them. They will probably blame it on the evil Ramos. Talking about Ramos, Its amazing how Liverpool fans reacted towards him after the final. You wouldn't think that the thugs Souness, carragher etc once played for them.

Best in the world at times. For long periods of time even with Messi around.
Totally agree and actually, if we're entirely truthful, one of the best ever when you consider everything together - a legend of the game.

Messi's technical ability has arguably been better (a silky wonder), but Ronaldo is imperious and someone you can mostly rely on for the big games.

What about this one: 311 goals in 292 La Liga appearances for Real which is one goal every 0.93 games - more than one goal per game!

When he has retired and we look back on his career, him and Messi will be talked about in the same echelons as Pele, Maradona and Eusébio.

Yep, it's why I say ronaldo could be the best of all time. We make mistakes in modern day football that every good thing is magnified and 'legends' is a term given out on a whim. I mean just look at fans putting salah on a pedastal after one good season, it's stupid the very best do it for over a decade consistently.

Those two have been in a different world to anyone in the last 30 years and probably the next 30 years.
