ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

No matter what the media churn out the next couple of weeks don’t believe that this is anything other than a massive body blow to them. Those players will look back the rest of their lives and realise every single effort they put into getting some of those ridiculous wins was ultimately wasted. For some of them it might be the only chance in their careers to win a league title and it was taken away from them by the relentless crushing of hope each and every single week. That’s got to be draining for them.

Whether they win the CL or not, nothing will erase this, every single factor was in their favour l, they gave it absolutely everything the establishment had and they still couldn’t win it. That will live with those players for ever.

It'll be interesting to see how many LFC training attire are in evidence tomorrow morning in the gym.
I'm normally outnumbered five to one and at this moment in time I've got my tops laid out on the bed wondering which one to wear.
I've got the fetching square necked violet one with the luminous SportsPesa logo lined up just in case they don't see me.
Love this schadenfreude.

Agreed never seen a flukier team, literally every game they had a massive slice of luck

Now just hoping spurs do their job and we can all have a nice summer
Wouldn't that be wonderful. But being ever the pessimist where they're concerned don't think it will happen. It can't be that good, can it? But what an awesome season it would turn out if they did. Would only be topped if we won a major trophy.

So, that was actual Karma, right?

Klopp's disrepectful celebratory pitch invasion during the Anfield derby, then the RS dropping two points at the Goodison derby in a campaign they lost by one point.

Watched his interview after on Sky, not once did he congratulate City. Congratulating Liverpool was the first thing Pep did when he was interviewed.

That win against Barcelona convinced them that they would do it today.

Their sense of arrogant entitlement defies belief.

If they had won the league today they would have elevated it to 'the greatest of all time'.

They are now in meltdown, and serves them right.
