ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Proud moment for Liverpool fans to wake up to this morning:

"Pushed Man City All the Way" Champions 2018/19

and

"Made Man City Better" Champions 2018/19.

and

"Winter Champions" 2018/19.

The real domestic treble before any other club achieved it.

I'd dispute number 2 there Dave as City didn't even need to get as many points as last time to win it, took their foot off the gas & toyed with them.

A team absolutely despised by every other teams fans too. They must be so so gutted, the two teams they hate the most are the two teams that cost them the title.

Utterly gut wrenching.

Never has a team won so little yet been utterly reviled. They’ve achieved the impossible of making neutral fans root for a team like City who should be the antithesis of what football fans want yet even they are deemed preferable to Liverpool winning a bean.

Best Runner's Up Ever Winners?

(I could see the BBC awarding that on their Sports Personality of the Year show actually).

Never seen the media so full of guff, this wasnt a small backwater club battling the odds, made up of rejects and academy players, this was one of the top spenders in the league with a massive wage bill, they didnt slug it out week in week out with City, they were 10 points ahead going into the NY,had players who hit peak, benefitted from gaffes and dubious decisions, had a great injury free season and sacrificed both domestic cups, yet still fell short, they arent even letting a bit of time pass before re-writing history
