.....the 30 years since the last domestic win is a major consideration, especially amongst talk of a European Super League.

I had a quick look earlier at some of the main leagues to determine how many titles the other so called elite had won during this spell;

Bayern Munich have won 16 titles
Barcelona have won 16 titles
Manchester United have won 13 titles
Juventus have won 13 titles
Real Madrid have won 8 titles
AC Milan have won 7 titles
Manchester City have won 5 titles
Borussia Dortmund have won 5 titles
Chelsea have won 5 titles
Inter Milan have won 5 titles
Arsenal have won 4 titles
Liverpool have won 0 titles.

Think that is an interesting comparison, for a club thought to be one of the world’s best. If I had a Twitter account, i’d tweet that.

The sad thing about that list is Manchester City are now only two titles behind us :(

(at least I hope it is only two.....I think they were champions only twice before the new paradigm)

I hope it happens and they end up in it. Their local fans will be completely ostracised and pushed out, and it’ll be hilarious and will pipe them right down. They'll get battered every week and we’ll be free of playing them and having to listen to their drivel forever, what’s not to like? Thing is it’s never happening anyway though.

They try the bitter stuff on me and I respond with
JFT39

Bitter Blue and proud

Those that know shut up sharpish and those that don’t I tell them to ask another rs (I’m not wasting my time telling them their own vile history). Things go nice and quiet after that.

They’re not big on banter when they’re on the receiving end.
A bloke in work, aged 30, had never heard of Heysel until I put him right last week. He knew all about Hillsborough though. Funny that.

Missed off (Div 2) Leeds and Blackburn, plus Leicester.

City will be there next rival. Whoever is winning stuff automatically becomes their rival:
Utd
Chelsea
City

Its how the media keep them relevant. Just wait till nest years game, there'll be a 4 week build up, it'll sold has a title decider in August

They did it this season tbh. They were being billed as the “challengers” in September. It definitely has a mental impact on the opposition in games when it’s been drilled into them by the media that they’re going up against this unstoppable juggernaut. I think it’s a big reason why so many teams fold and collapse against them.

Dare I ask, how have they taken this on RAWK? I haven't had a gander over there in a while, but I imagine they must be ready to murder some of the lads on here for still finding them a hilarious bunch of no marks.

The Man City thread reads like the journal entries of a deranged killer nonce who doesn't understand why he's been locked up

...but the interesting point is that they’re seen as a mega elite club, yet in comparison to their rivals they are living very much in the past.
