You know how FFP works Dave? It’s not just spending y’know, the oldest transfer there is Carroll ( I think) in Jan 2011. So. Let’s go thru EVERY sale (not just the most expensive ones) from jan 2011 and compare them to City.

2011 RS. City
50m Zero

2012 5m. 16m

2013. 6m. 34m

2014. 25m. 12m

2015. 83m. 46m

2016. 65m. 32m

2017. 75m. 4m

2018. 185m. 79m

Total. 494m. 223m

The RS have bought in 494m compared to City’s 223m in transfer sales. 271m more than City, just in transfers. Then, obviously, counter in revenues etc. There’s a reason why only one club is in the headlines regarding FFP. No doubt I’ll get accused of being a RS but the half truths you come out with are ridiculous.

"The RS".

Is this ruse still going on?

I absolutely detest Man City for stealing the title off Liverpool. They are a shameful organisation. Hand Liverpool the title, you Manc cash junkies. Only Liverpool can hold their heads up high. They fight for the whole of the City of Liverpool and represent us all with humble dignity. They are anti-modern football and generate all their spending from collections made bi-weekly going door to door in the local community carrying out bob-a-job days.

my guess is that hes done that piece for publicity,
used hillsboro to promote himself!
the vast majority of readers of the physical copy of scmp, would have a clue what hes rambling on about!

Not that i care to read it again, but im sure he said it was his first piece for them, so yeah basically this.

Its been a week now since they lost the league, and since then City have lifted another cup, so they are doing all they can to swing media attention back onto them.

Once again, they have proven to the entire country what a bunch of creeps they are. There is a news article on the Mail at the moment where a City fan bursts into one of the press conferences at Wembley yesterday and screams at the journalists "I bet you're still going to put Salah on your back pages" despite the fact that City have just become the first ever club to win a domestic treble.

Predictably, the RS troll army heard their marching order so the entire comments section for this article reads something like this: "what the hell is wrong with City fans, they can't get Liverpool out of their heads #YNWA".

Good on this fan who stormed the presser. The sports media in this country is a sham profession, it really is. They are just lip service for whichever club brings in the most amount of clueless mouth breathers who don't read anything that isn't to do with their club. Bolton Wanderers are on the brink of going out of business but all we freaking hear about every sodding week "if only goals from outside the box counted as double, Liverpool would be champions!" absolutely sick of it.

Come on Spurs for the good of humanity.
Meanwhile, Liverpool fans, despite Liverpool coming second and having an amazing season, will not stop whining about big nasty Man City. But sure, City fans are the obsessed ones.

Also, they do realise that not all Scousers are kopites?

How was the net spend parade?

Its relevant though, no amount of sarcastic replies like yours will change that. Dave said they are guilty of financial doping just as much as City. Well, they really aren’t. Not one of the replies to my post has been constructive. Most of the replies have been like a small child being proven wrong. The net spend, as tiresome as it is, is relevant when things like FFP are being discussed.

I must concede that you are completely tiresome.

You're really really hurting aren't you?

Sleepless nights eh? Your players will be the same. I think they'll be drained by the time the final comes round.

Could be a relatively easy win for Spurs.

Mate, sensitively put. To put rememberance into context for some of us (Blues). As you say you were 4 at the time. I was 17 at the time and I was at villa park that day. Some cousins and mates went to Hillsborough. The night before loads of mates together blues and reds in the pub. On that day a friend of mine who was with us the night before died at Hillsborough. It took all night to find one of my cousins alive (just) in Sheffield. Whether red or blue, all of us who had been in the pub that night felt (and most do still feel) some form of survivors guilt. As long as we all live we will remember that day and yes I’ve long been sickened by the way it’s been hijacked, branded and woven by LFC onto scarves, kit and into their history along with honours won. The sense of loss will never change, but the justice process was ‘won’.

And now the memory of the victims and the day should be returned to the private grief of those affected. It won’t though!
