Aren't death threats...err...illegal?
Don't be so dramatic. Talk about Mo Salah instead. What's that about Kyiv, I mean Kiev- how would I know about the spelling?

Have you seen these advanced statistical metrics? Shaqiri is 4.3 times more likely than Fekir to participate in a expected key pass opportunity.

What were you talking about again? Over to Lawro with a rant about VAR.

Still don't understand this.

If a player has a release clause and it is met, surely this means they have to accept the offer
Wasn't there "something" odd with the clause not being a mandatory release clause? Can you imagine Suarez under Wenger and not Brenda. He could have lit up the league in a decent team like Arsenal.

I know for certain that they fought the clause off as there was no specification as to how the £40 million had to be paid in Suarez’s contract.

Arsenal met the clause but it was in instalments therefore they argued the clause hadn’t been met and didn’t allow Suarez to go.

If Arsenal paid it in 1 hit the other crowd couldn’t have done anything.

Imagine selling Coutinho and replacing him with Keita! lol lol lol lol lol

Replacing Can with Fabinho weakens them further. Would've been better paying him what he wanted, cheaper than buying the Brazilian.

If I remember right, the rat said he had a promise off the owner and the manager but had nothing in writing, if he expected that lot to be honourable then he deserved to be stabbed in the back.

They really are going on about Keita as if he's the second coming. He's a million miles off Coutinho. He looks a decent all round midfielder in the games I've seen, but when I watched Leipzig last season, if you saw him and Lookman it would have been very hard to say which lad cost 55 million and which lad cost 10. Especially when you consider one was 20 and the other 23/24.

I doubt they've even seen him play, i saw quite a bit due to the Lookman loan and he was average, he looked off the pace in that league, he's going to be found out big time here.

I think Gueye is overrated but I'd say he's better than Keita. A real clanger from Liverpool, given their precarious financial state it's not something they can afford to do.

Already lost Can and Flanagan on frees. Moreno, Milner, Sturridge, Bogdan and Klavan all look like following, the chickens are coming home to roost. £300m in debt, sky high wage bill, exodus of players soon to be leaving for no money.....it's very, very worrying.

All the while they have champions league football they are ok as cash flow issues are mediated. Likewise they have made some big sales or got rid of deadwood quite effectively. Unfortunately they have the sale of Salah which will be for a substantial fee to help ease any issues they have over the next 24 months. I personally hope Salah stays, I think he may flop a bit next season and really hope the mass signing exercise they are doing can be put onto the debt.

My desire with them, is not just for them to slip down the league a bit having sold a top player, but to disintegrate Leeds United style. Start pushing the debt towards 500 million and you get closer to that, especially if bowering is not linked to a tangible asset (like a prime placed stadium).

As for Keita I think he's different to Gana, not as good defensively but better going forward. I think he's a good player but at nearly 60 million it's a huge fee. They are increasingly spending that sort of money now and I do think the moment they miss out for CL there will be some issues for them.

I think the CL final was a real knife edge moment for Klopp’s reign. 3 seasons in and he has nothing to show for it. If he doesn’t land the PL or CL next season where do they go from there? I think Klopp knows this as well hence the transfer demands for a complete new midfield and keeper. If it doesn’t work this season then what? The top 6 have already sussed Klopp’s tactics out looking at the results from last season in comparison to the ones before, if the rest of the league catch on too will we see what occured at Dortmund where they were completely ineffective? Tbh whilst Mourinho and Guardiola are at City and United I can’t see a Klopp liverpool touching the league. They’re both far superior managers who have better teams and finished a lot of points ahead of a supposedly brilliant Liverpool with Salah hitting 30 goals.

I don’t think Salah’s value will ever be higher than now. Unlike Suarez who was the heartbeat of that 13/14 side I actually don’t think Salah is as good as built up to be. Defences who sit deep have negated him easily, he doesn’t involve in the build up play much, so apart from the goals there’s not much there which wasn’t the case with Suarez Torres Alonso Coutinho. If he doesn’t hit the same number next season I don’t think a top club will touch him when they could get Hazard Neymar or Mbappe instead. If I was Liverpool I would have sold him this summer.
