So let me get this right. You state your opinions as facts without any evidence, provide yet another opinion piece, again presented as fact but I need to supply the evidence ? Can see have a really good handle on this debating thing, cheers.

Umm, he did use facts dummy.

IT's true though, look at the stats of any pacy goalscorer.

Henry, Andy Cole, Louis Saha, Michael Owen, Anelka, Rooney....their performances all dropped off after 27/28/29 in a way that didn't happen with the likes of Sheringham, Drogba, Bergkamp, Van Persie, Lampard etc.

It's a worry for them. It's a shame really as they've spent so much money but are unlikely to win anything meaningful and if their good luck turns to bad luck then they are in danger of joining Leeds. It's a bit mad in all honesty, but a real possibility.

The way they play destroys strikers. Apart from a few months under Rodgers in his first and last season (which were roundly booed by the fans) they haven’t had any teams that have played what you would call possession/front foot football in the way Arsenal City or United would do. Each of Houllier Rafael Rodgers and now Klopp have all played different variations on the same theme of defence sitting deep, midfielders releasing the ball immediately, and forwards pressing madly and carrying the entirety of the attacking threat on the back of an opposition mistake. You can see the attraction of the system, it allows you to have average defenders and midfielders but still stay defensively ok and you only need to invest in a world class forward or two to compete at a reasonable level without the usual time it takes to build a top squad. If you perfect the system as well it produces big scores even over sides with far better players. You might win something with it (Leicester did with the league, Atletico too, but as Liverpool have found a top top possession side can always hurt you if you let them have possession which is what has happened in the finals they’ve lost)

The evidence is thought that they’ve completely broken Owen, Torres, Sturridge and will do the same with the current front three if they continue. It’s a mercy Coutinho got out when he did. He’s just prolonged his career by going to a possession based team rather than running the wing relentlessly for Klopp. Compare Firmino having to run a marathon each game to Aguero who is in his slippers striking goals in, same as Hazard and Messi.

Klopp doesn’t have the quality to rotate and he’s shown in the past he’ll flog these three in every game he can until they get injured. That’s why his prem record reads 8th 4th and 4th.

I'll laugh if they get beat tonight, but I wont be too disappointed if they win either. We could do with them getting into at least the round of 16 to keep their resources under the cosh this season. A QF defeat would suit me.
I’m hoping they get absolutely gaped.

It needs PSG to score early on the counter.

It might puncture their season if they went out at the group stage. Howver, I could see them just redoubling their efforts in the PL. I'd be inclined to want to see them get strung along to the quarters...no further than that, just enough to stretch them.
