I genuinely find them fascinating. Their strangeness isn't replicated by any other set of fans of any team in any sport.

I don't know if the cult attracts the personality type or if it creates them but they are just endless supply of unsurpassed oddness .

Paranoia, delusions of grandeur, phoney elevation of football to look passionate, defending racism, pretence of indifference to us but lose their ship when we paint the liver bird blue, celebrate like they won the treble on sunday etc

All of human weirdness is there.
You left out criminality.

And that, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is proof positive that kopites are gobshites. No Evertonian -- and I mean none at all -- would get a tattoo done because of the result of one game in a derby that's played twice each season.
I didn’t actually realise it was the result until you mentioned it. I did notice the 1 instead of of I, but had no idea why he had done that.
Assuming most people won’t understand the meaning, he is now going to spend the rest of his life explaining that the tattoo relates to a league game that no one is going to remember in a couple of years

If Pickford had done his job this title would be as good as City's by now.

doesn't really matter at the end of the day, city just put out a second XI in an away league match at a top half team and won with ease. The way i see it, the more those baffoons actually think they have a chance the better. Think of how gutted they'll be over christmas if they drop points before then. If mahrez scored the pen and pickford didn't drop a bollock they'd have already accepted they won't win and wouldn't be as upset.

what will those two points mean at the end of the season? Absolutely nothing i bet, at best the difference between 3rd and second. Imagine trying to tell the story in 20 years time, everyone will laugh at them.
