I thought the tackle was perfectly fine and exactly what the RS should have expected in that game. If anything Gomez was rather naive putting himself in a position that he would be tackled when he had no chance of winning the ball cleanly, on the edge of the pitch, no where near either goal. A smarter player would have feigned that he was going in but pulled out last second. Only got himself to blame.
 

Why don't managers call their cheating players out what they are. I've watched them about five times in the last couple of years and every time I watch they get desperate and players start throwing themselves all over the shop. The utter nerve to call PSG play acters when they themselves are twice as bad.

tbf to Dyche he blatantly called him a diving cheat. Thing is that's the 2nd game running he has done it as he done it against us trying to win a pen. Then the Mane roll and nothing was mentioned.

It only upsets the rs when they are on the end of a defeat otherwise it won't get mentioned.

Yeah dyche's comments prompted me to state it. They do it every time they're struggling, but nobody calls them out. That Mane roll was disgraceful, I'm not entirely sure what he was doing, just trying to save face after a dive. Salah acting like an utter girl again when gomes brushed his hair as well, it's that type of weakness that cost them against real madrid.

I'd be more peed off at salah's loyalty to the cause than Pickford's mistake is both happened to us.

More than just that mate, it also means they have lost the player they use in the tougher games at right back to allow them to rest Arnold. Outside their front three only the keeper and vvd injuries could have been worse really.
