ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Given the significance a part of me says they´re going to have a stumble at some point due to nerves but it just doesn´t seem to be coming.

Probably not mate, it feels all too inevitable

I hope their lot feel the same, hope the players tense up, hoping beyond hope for a massive cock up

I simply can't be doing with that lot winning the league, honestly it's just not something I'm willing to accept, my missus will be bloody unbearable.

That lot winning the league we'll be reminded of it for the next 20 years.

In a weird way, I'm glad it's happened in a way where they simply deserve it and have been the better team.

You can tell yourself that but Mahrez blazing a penalty over, Pickford throwing the ball into his net and Speroni also throwing the ball into his net all beg to differ. City don’t deserve anything right now, but let’s not pretend Liverpool haven’t had absolutely everything go their way this year.

They are still top mate ...wish we were lollollol

Few injuries/fatigue and the replacements aren´t good enough. How they´ve avoided any of that until now is some achievement.

Exactly and fewer games to come also means likely less injuries and fatigue while City could easily be playing two games most weeks and little preparation time too.

The domestic cups for teams chasing the title and/or Champions league just aren't worth it, for them the domestic cups are small time, going out of them certainly isn't.

If you have a hugely strong squad like City you can compete on multiple fronts, although the points behind and games in hand won't half mount up now.

Liverpool's squad is nowhere near big enough, for them getting out of the cups as early as possible was a great move and now a big advantage.

Hope we smash city and try to kick on from the recent bad spell we have had. I couldn't care less what the RS do and if they do win the league it would be deserved.

I've seen the RS win the league before many times so it's not going to bother me that much. I think a lot of blues who haven't seen the RS win the league before have built this end of world scenario in their heads about it and it is going to happen sooner or later so just best getting it out the way then concetrating on Everton and hope that one day we are in that position to win the league.

Time to focus on Everton and finally winning a trophy for the first time for almost 25 years.

It;s Liverpool's title. There's plenty more defeats in that City team and Liverpool wont lose more than one more top whack.

It's happened. They've won the league. It's taken them just on 30 years, but it's happened. We have to accept that, somehow, and carry hobbling on with our lot hoping the club can turn some corner. Terrible.

Yes, it's all over. As I say, I just hope they don't do a PL/CL double.
