ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

the police were a disgrace at that game, it was a miracle no one was killed or seriously injured when they crowded everyone into the metro station before the game, they caused a big crush on the metro after the game aswell, a total shambles
Remember that now. The only good thing was that me feet were killing me but they never touched the floor for half an hour

Stupid me thinking it was one ketwig dkhead yet that fella encouraging him is old enough to know better.

Where were all the top scouse reds stopping a stupid woolyback firing fireworks into the crowd?.

Seen all day “scousers are supposed to look after their own” (Re: Evertonians being ‘grasses’) and all that crap. Meanwhile some fella from outside of the city is cheered on by red scousers to launch fireworks into one of their city’s iconic landmarks causing £10k worth of damage while they all stand there cheering and laughing.

Clearly taking proportionate action against yobs throwing bottles is self-defence. However, Forever92 was advocating acting first and acting hard. That is not self-defence.
Section 3 of the Criminal Law Act 1967 states that a person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons "unlawfully at large." However, section 3 only applies to crime and not to civil matters therefore, there is no rule in law to say that a person must wait to be struck first before they may defend themselves.

Be quiet now mate, you are a WUM.

Here you go, this is from that article;

Toward the end of the clip some Liverpool fans could be seen remonstrating with the yobs in a bid to protect the officers. The fans can be seen waving their hands in the air and pleading with them to stop throwing the objects.

Can you spot it?

All the way through the article, the ones attacking the police and doing the bottle throwing are referred to simply as yobs. But the ones doing the remonstrating are referred to as Liverpool fans.

Bang on.

Down here in Grimdon we've had our first covud deaths in 12 days as the 2nd wave approached. I commented on the article that this was undoubtedly due to the morons heading off to beaches and their other special gatherings.
One fella commented "bore off mate" at this.

Some seem to think that a global pandemic killing hundreds of thousands should not mean that they cannot selfishly entertain themselves and that rules don't apply to them on the basis that its boring.

I had a look at this loon's profile - give you three guesses - scratch that, you'll need just one guess what team filled his profile picture.
