I have just stated that every single person who committed a criminal act should be arrested and prosecuted. You have just gone off on a rant.

Don't worry I am a blue. It is just I am old enough to have seen them win the League before and know it isn't the end of the world. I had accepted they were going to win the League six months ago and had prepared for it. I didn't fall for the usual suspects coming out with the null and void rubbish.

The saddest part is that we used to look to hit back on the pitch, now we just look for their idiots to inevitably misbehave and then look for some moral superiority.

We have a once in a generation manager, we are in good form, and we are four points from a Europa League place. We have started with a point against the redshite and a win and have a great run of fixtures to look forward to. Add in City probably getting kicked out of Europe, and we have a real chance of European football next season.

Yet all we want to focus on is grabbing the moral high ground. Let's jib them and focus on ourselves. That is the way forward.

Despite their current success, I remain forever grateful to my old man for bringing me up a blue. I genuinely wouldn’t swap it, and I mean that this week more than ever.

But yes I've been choked out when I first started out - inexperienced and too proud to tap thinking I could get out then within seconds I was out like a light as is the case when a blood choke is correctly applied - not kneeling on someones neck for over 9 minutes crushing their airway.

When correctly used its one of the less lethal ways to neutralise someone certainly better than cracking them over the heed with a baton imo

I think we need to look at the bigger picture here. This is a societal issue. The scenes last night were disgusting but let's not kid ourselves that this is restricted to Liverpool as a geographical location or the RS.

This Country has an issue with selfish people, who consume vast amounts of alcohol and drugs especially at the weekend and cause absolute havoc right across the Country.

Go to any A&E at the weekend and you will see the same thing. Hordes of inebriated individuals, high on legal and illegal drugs abusing the very people who are trying to help them. A decade of austerity and politicians encouraging selfishness has meant the Police have completely lost control of the streets.

Look at the Met Police looking to engage with people attending illegal street parties. The terrifying thing is that with the double whammy of COVID and Brexit things are likely to get much worse.

As I said the scenes last night were disgusting but sadly they are not isolated. As a nation we need to start getting our priorities right before it is too late.

Policing in this Country has always been by consent. Sadly the slashing of Police budgets means the Police are no longer in charge of the streets. We are facing a crisis of all public services.
