I had the advantage of being an Everton supporter at school in Liverpool (1940's) when Liverpool FC had never won the FA Cup. The RS hated being reminded of it. It used to be said that if Liverpool won the cup the Liver bird would fly away.

Bringing up when someone threw blue paint at the Hillsborough memorial a few years back, which was rightly called out and condemned by Everonians. It’s mad how they’re trying to keep this title win relevant because literally nobody else cares, literally nobody. This season has been a dud. There have been far bigger and more important situations occurring this year which will overshadow any sporting accomplishments and I think it hurts them massively. It’s the only logical explanation I can think of as to why they would behave the way the have been since they won it to try and keep some sort of relevance. Obviously in true kopite style they’ve made absolute cuntz of themselves and shamed our city again.
