Carlo being one of the best managers of all time would be decent getting him and the crest somewhere with another like you say Dixie Dean or the Holy Trinity / Southall.
Be nice to have something in the current rather than just all about being our past (I accept we aint upto much in recent years!).
Ive been shut in since March so have been lucky enough not to see theirs downtown... every cloud. Id rather see a quality one for us than quantity like theirs... less clearly being more in our case.
I think this is a load of crap , why would we need to sink to their level by sticking murals up all around the city for them deface , causing more aggravation and conflict .

Definitely Dixie Dean. He’s the finest forward this country has ever produced. Probably top 10 ever in Europe. Should be at least one of him in this city. One in Birkenhead would be nice too. He was from the North End, after all.

Think its more a case of not having tourists/students coming to the city and thinking there is only one club bombarded by their murals and large club shop.
I've said for years we need a bigger prescence in the city centre certainly during times when we are crap and they are winning everything in sight.
BMD will help that but even then its 3-4 years away and not directly in the centre compared to say the Echo Arena.
