ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s only special to them. 30 years of spending millions upon millions upon millions and millions to get one league title isn’t special. Leicester City accomplished a title win in just over two seasons of returning to the Premier League, title wins like theirs are special. They’re really trying their hardest to keep this title win relevant as nobody else cares.

I wonder what shame our beautiful City will wake up to in the morning.

But it’s ok, remember, this means more
To be honest having a private party for 300 guests whilst having a firework display is hardly in line with a policy of telling people to stay at home and watch it on the TV.
They will be out I force at Anfield and the Pier Head and I suppose you can't blame them , let's just see if they can do it without damaging public property , fighting with the police or gouging each other's eyes out.
I doubt it like

theyre going to be out and if they do it without the pier head carry on the ultimately it’s not something I’m going to get too worked up about , as you say though you fully expect it to kick off .

....just been out and more window flags going up, expecting fireworks and singing tonight then hopefully it dies down.

This is all very very strange, they won the title a month ago and had their celebrations then, what has changed in the meantime and why are we all talking about celebrations again? What is there to celebrate now? Are they annoyed that not enough people paid attention to them the last time?

It is strange. I have never known fans of any club that has won a league in advance to celebrate on the day they have lifted the trophy as if it was the day they won it. The possible exception might be Leicester City, who waited less than five days to lift the trophy at the next available weekend. Perfectly understandable. This contrived triumphalism by your despicable neighbours, however, suggests that there are deep underlying psychological issues within that fanbase that need addressing. I'd be very interested to see the results of any studies into collective behaviours of different sets of fans, and why, in particular, a highly disproportionate number of weirdos gravitate towards Liverpool FC.
