ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

So the 'mitigating factors' for the ineligible player were the difficulties faced by them getting the paperwork done and the fact that they have been unable to name him in a team line-up this season.

So, by that logic, I'll go to my local car dealership and drive off with a new car. If I get caught I'll explain that I had difficulty getting a job paying enough money and the fact that I have been unable to put a new car on my shopping list at all this year.

That should do it. Now, what to choose? Jag? Porsche?

Every level of football Ive played at it has been clear that fielding an ineligible player leads to points deducted or out of the tournament. And a fine. Nothing heard from MK Dons, wonder if a sweetener was thrown their way.
Absolute fiddle.
If we're not winning against Watford next round in the last 20 minutes- we can throw big Dunc on for 100k now.

Different rules for different competitions though, but let's be honest, they were never in a million years getting kicked out, were they. So they fined them, a third of Salah's weekly wages. Really teach them a lesson that won't it mate. :)
The Sunderland player played FOUR PL games and a League Cup tie, £200,000 fine. The Liverpool player (who has been on their books for years) played 20 mins. The player mentioned in the Celtic Legia Warsaw game hadn't completed his 3 game ban for a red card. It's a non, or very minor story, really.

I can't believe they've not even been made replay the game. Something is amiss, I think you're onto it with the sweetener for MK Dons.
How are they only fined £100k for an ineligible player  unbelievable.

It's more absurd that they got fined 100K for a player issue when Millwall only get fined 10K for racism issues.
Which one is more important?
