Because its not "really" celebrating the title like previous winners. They did it in front of people rather than a tainted behind closed doors job

Even by their standards, they're dragging this out. We had the night they won it, the weekend after when they went round vandalising the city and last night for the greatest trophy lift of all time. Can't wait for the week long procession when they tell us 10 million people came out to pay tribute to the greatest team of all time.

Every other team would've done this with a bit of class given the situation. This lot couldn't manage that. It's actually made it even worse because they're so desperate to prove it's not a tainted title. They've convinced no one. Get a fat asterisk next to it in the history books.

There'll be about ten plays on the Royal Court over the next decade. It'll wax lyrical about the greatest team in the werld and how the super reds saved the Liver Building from marauding bitters and Chelsea fans. *Starring Sinbad.
