Red mate of mine referenced City exiting the CL with the comment "you can't buy the CL mate" thought I can't let him get away with that, I pointed out why not you lot did and went on to name the players they've bought over the last few years, with in 2 replies it became about us and the [Poor language removed] players we've bought, tried to bring it back around to them and their spending but no, not a chance in the the end stopped replying, couple of replies were from people I don't even know. Don't usually do FB think I'll go back to not using it.

I don’t care for Women’s football, and until it reaches a better standard I probably won’t be interested.
But out into perspective, Liverpool spent £1million on a stage and fireworks for an empty stadium to hold the trophy up, yet managed to find ways to budget cut and cut the women’s budget by half to around £150k a year to operate.
We won’t go into Furlough gate, but that’s it. It’s a business. They’re only interested if it makes money.
i mean the likes of United are doing it for the wrong reasons, I feel like they did it because they had to. But Liverpool have had a team for well over 10 years now.
