Fwiw, I still consider the 95 Charity Shield to be our last proper trophy, so it depends how you view things I guess

I was speaking to a RS mate last week Mikey about Klopp coming out and saying “the game isn’t a friendly, it’s a proper game”
RS mate said he agreed with Klopp because winning the charity shield and beating Arsenal would put a marker down.

I spoke to him after the game, he said he wasn’t arsed because it was only a friendly.

Billed as the 30 year wait. It will be full of gushing against the odds heroism. They are a franchise business in a hedge fund at the end of the day.

In between this "wait' they have won everything else going multiple times. Hardly justifies sympathy.

Just spotted that as I was scrolling through what was on terrestrial viewing tonight.
Only surprise is that it's not on prime time where the BBC have pulled an episode of Eastenders.

That bellwhiff Holt (nominally a Stockport fan) is unbelievably one eyed about the sh*te and will go to any lengths to defend them. He was practically frantic with worry and indignation when the voiding of last season was first mooted as a possibility, churning out articles by the day and appearing on TV whenever he could to bore on about the absolute injustice of it all for his beloved reds.

The real positive about Sky's Sunday Supplement being shelved is it's one less platform for him to inflict his red sh*te flavoured bile upon the viewers.
