ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Only have to look at what's just happened at Sale rugby union club (near Manchester) for the dangers for the whole squad once one or two get the virus. Earlier this week they announced that 3 players from a squad of 32 had tested positive, today that number is sixteen despite the isolation precautions being followed.

Remarkably Sale still announced they would be able to fulfill their important fixture vs Worcester this weekend - presumably with an academy side. Worcester then responded saying the game isn't going ahead unless they receive categorical assurances that they are not in any danger.

In Scotland Kilmarnock's entire squad has been told to self-isolate after six confirmed cases found there. Liverpool now have two and earlier had a member of staff also positive, there's a danger players negative now could be positive a day later, most show no or very few symptoms anyway.

The sh*te's whole squad will have to isolate after Sunday, tbh if I was Villa manager Dean Smith I wouldn't be too happy having to play these either, he should have every right to pull his side out of this game and be awarded a 3-0 win by default.

Tbh I'm dreading this international break, can just see a few of our squad getting it just before we play them and we're forced to default or play on anyway without six or seven.

If a load of RS players end up testing positive for Covid just watch the premier League bring some new rule out saying that games won't have to be forfeited or that teams won't have to field a weakened side, games will just be rearranged for a later date.

Guaranteed this will happen. They will have 8 games in hand or some nonsense
