ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The gift that keeps giving!
Speaking to a Kopite yesterday, one of the few that I know who isn't a whopper.
He said that his team's performance at the weekend was purely down to the fact that theý never had a proper close season and affected their preparation. When I suggested that it also applied to the other teams he said that allowances should have been made for the elite clubs in the league.

So... we're the best so we should be given special advantages so we can compete?

No club in the league has more opportunity to prepare than them.

The elite clubs were still playing European games in Germany and Portugal whilst they were in preseason training, like us.

Like us, they’re season was sewn up weeks before it even finished, the results didn’t matter, nothing was going to change with regards to where they finished which gave them the opportunity to take the foot off the gas and prepare for this season.

Nah not on this planet... They're uniformly all cranks and simpletons

The reason they lost, and hopefully lose a lot more, is that they don't like it up them.
They like easy rollovers, playing v 10 men , dodgy pens, dodgy everything.

Get into them!

Those performances by Arsenal and Chelsea were a disgrace. The 2 of them basically lied down and got there bellies tickled....cowards. They were happy to get away with close losses instead of even having a go.

I’m not having the best 2 top teams there, the 2 of them were atrocious. Leeds and Villa where both much better against them on the day.

The same could be said for us. Ignore the names, both Palace (who’d won all there games) and West Brom (who played very well until the red card & were exceptional against Chelsea putting 3 past them in 45 mins) performed much better against us than Spurs who’ve walloped everyone since but we’re rubbish against us.

It should be forgotten that every Liverpool fan thought Brighton would get something of us cause they’ve played great in all there games. Although now we’ve swatted them aside, with ease, it’s “only” Brighton and we still haven’t beaten anyone.

Allowances were made for the elite teams. Why does he think Aston 7goalthrilla have only played 3 games?
