ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Documentary on the mighty reds 30 year wait on bbc2 in a mo lids don’t forget to tune in.
Don’t ask me why, but I’ve just watched the Gerard Houllier part of this documentary.
Evans dosent come across well.
The pressure put on Houllier dosent come across well.

Sacking off watching it now Rafael is on like, and no chance I’m watching that German bell end.

I never liked Evans. Simpering little toady. I've never heard the words 'boot room' uttered so many times as he did. Well, him and Ronnie Moran, but obviously that goon was an utter waste of cells...

Even when they gave Evans the ultimate slap in the chops with that demeaning 'joint manager' thing, all he did was sit simperingly on the touchline with a rictus grin plastered on his face as if he was 'really happy' with the arrangement. I've known jellyfish with more backbone than him.

Another absolutely deluded RS in one of the replies: (saying that though, it's that deluded it has to be a wind - up, right?)

Replying to

and
@footballdaily
We have the two best centre backs in the premier league injured, the best creative midfielder in the premier league injured (Keita) arguably the best attacking player in the world injured (jota) Mourinho needs to shut his trap

I’ve not seen this many deluded pricks wearing red since the trump rallies finished.

Klopp calling for VVD to get a five year deal. A five year deal for a 29 year old with a cruciate ligament injury. This could be amazing. He returns below his best level and they’re locked in to paying him 200k a week until he’s 34. This is the sort of ridiculous thing we used to do.
FSG will be pissing themselves at that. It allows them to get past the January window without sticking their hands in their pockets for a second half of the season stop gap. Just promise Klopp they'll look at VVD's contract in the summer.

Evans was on 5 live the other day, a more graceless, insulting and tonedeaf interview I have never heard.

Lots of barely disguised belittling of his time at Liverpool, when asked what it was that houllier did to be credited as modernising the club he went on a rant about how the club decided to throw money around (with the implications they didn't give Evans a pot to piss in) and it was just money, none of the modern thinking or tactical changes coming from Europe at that time.

Ended by saying he walked away because no-one could be expected to have a co-manager thrust upon them (but obviously not straight-away eh Roy? So principled) and that he and houllier were 'not friends'.

I don't know Evans but came across really poorly and made me wonder why on earth he agreed to the interview if he is still that bitter that he can't even mask it on the day of houllier's death.

thats shameful I agree, if he didn't like the man or what happened during his time there, there's a time a place for such utterances. I remember Evans' face sat next to GH. Proper smacked arse and like a petulant child. GH seemed a good bloke.

Looks like a match made in heaven.
