ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The chances of them going down this season is ridiculously low. It's nonsensical to even consider it, hence the absolute state that some of their fans are at.

Yes I mean they're not going down. But you do sense the panic.

The problem is they refuse to acknowledge warning signs. They were very apparent as late as last lockdown. So it all comes as a shock when it falls apart.

It was obvious Thiago wouldnt turn the team around. It's starting to sink in now.

not for me - injury to Henderson the final blow IMHO

I remember thinking, why did they send him out to run it off? Should have been straight down the tunnel.

If hes done hamstring/groin, and it looked a bad tear given the pain he was in, at what, age 30, he will do well to get over that as well.

Anyway I do love his "we wont be losing to Everton this weekend" pep talk mid week. Bet he feels quite the tit now doesnt he? You could call that injury Karma.

if you throw in their results since the restart of the *, they probably will be mid table at best,

Honestly, all this banging on about liverpools injuries....
When are they gonna twig and start pointing the finger at klopp and his style?
Klopp and his style are the reason for a lot of the injuries imo. in the previous 2 seasons same 11 week in week out running around in the 90th minute game after game like 11 robot usain bolts. They were either very lucky with injuries or there was klopp voodoo juju juice at work.

From rawk, they're feeewwwin

Anyone saying “fair play to Everton” can [Poor language removed] right off. This gang of gobshites ruined our season with career threatening tackles a few months ago. They then come away with a result thanks to a rookie cb and a bent referee, after doing [Poor language removed] all the whole game, other than benefit from our poor finishing. This is during the worst run of form we’ve seen in nearly a century. They then celebrate like they’ve just won the champions league.

“Fair play to Everton” can get to [Poor language removed].

It's still an if. They could still win the thing, but looks unlikely currently.

I think today will be a bruising defeat. If ever there was a game to get them back in track it was that one.
I agree today will be bruising. My worry was that Tuesday and a result today would be their spring board. But it won’t. Teams know the blueprint for a result.

Take away the derby fervour and tonight was comfortable. We did a job on them and others will too.
