Physically and mentally knackered most likely. He squeezes the same core group hard, there's no real back up.

Or the PEDs become harder to buy / hide.

I just find it mad that every single one of them has fell off a cliff at the same time. The top teams lose form from time to time but since that Palace game this lot are competing like a mid table side at best.

As you say, they are likely knackered but for them to rebuild you'd struggle to identify where because they all look so poor. It's almost impossible to identify who the weak link is.

It's stating the obvious of course, but there really is something mentally not right amongst their fanbase. They've all seemed to buy into the "there is a conspiracy against us" theme. Have they not noticed how many penalties / free kicks Salah, Mane etc. have scammed over the past several years? Or even maybe how the red card count in Merseyside derbies since the PL era started is something like 3 to 1 against Everton?

It's akin to Trumpers in the US thinking the election was stolen.

They're a lot worse, it's true whether you agree with it or disagree with it that the media is anti Trump and I'm not saying Trump supporters are right, just that there has been a long history in America, mostly involving Republicans where elections have been rigged, the Bush/Gore election comes to mind recently. Liverpool have been great for 50 years, with the exception of now and a few bad months under Hodgson and Rodgers they've been pretty decent.

They sacked Benitez a man who had won the Champions League, the FA Cup and took them to Final in 2007, got them to the Semi Final in the Champions League and the Europa league. They were unfortunate not the win the league the previous season, if they hadn't dropped points to teams like City, Stoke, Hull, Fulham, and West Ham they would of won the league. They really are the most deluded and entitled supporters in the country.
