ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Most of what you've posted there is spot on..........but, if we were involved in a game as big as that and one of our ex players was playing, the booing would be on a par with what we witnessed on Sunday. Remember singing for Barmby to die? And to suggest a lot of booing was racist anger? WOW.

Never sang for Barmby to die myself...

But in that case.... we resurrected his career, he was going nowhere at Spurs (England career was over)... a move to us saved him from drifting away to obscurity... and despite this, at the first opportunity, he left & joined our biggest rival...In any situation in football that's a big No No...if you're an ungrateful personality fine, join any other club you like just not them.....thats standard across every league, every country..

Sterling didn't join Man United (or a successful Everton).... He joined a club that Liverpool fans had no rivalry with at all at the time...

You're more then welcome to believe there's no racial overtones in this too, I believe there is but that's just my opinion

Did we not sign Barmby from Middlesbrough?

I know I'll get called all sorts for saying this but you & fans of the same ilk are absolutely full on mental if you genuinely believe this [Poor language removed] you type, 100% cloud cuckoo land.

The first time Liverpool have had a great team in an age so it must all be fixed for them? Honestly, the best option is to just to shrug your shoulders & accept the reality for what it is instead of going all Alex Jones about it.
Hi mate, have you got any pets and what are you having for tea ? Can you send me some pictures of ladies with your reply.Thanks.

Never looked at it this way before.

Maybe. Just maybe, their whole fan base isn’t low-life, victim playing, murdering, pond scum after all.

thanks for your balanced opinion Everton1970.

It wouldn't be so bad if they would at least admit it and say 'Yeah, we really have been getting a few good calls lately, haven't we?', and laughing about it. I could understand them still being pleased about it, obviously.

But you mention something stone-cold obvious like the TAA handball or the last-minute penalty against Leicester, and all you get is a stream of examples of decisions that have gone against them, and the oh-so-original chorus of 'Bitter Blue'!

Just a little bit of self-awareness, even if it involved revelling in the good fortune like relatively normal people. It shouldn't be too much to ask...

Sterling calling out the RS biased media for making him out as some awful person after he left Liverpool and he is bang on.

I kind of thought he used to be a bad person due to all the stories on him, but I was regrettably manipulated by the media to hate him and over the last few years we have seen how much he does off the pitch and how unfair he was treated,
I'm sure it was the rs journos at England's training camp who put the pressure on Southgate to drop him.

Nah but i bet their eyes lit up when they found out.

That whole incident stinks of Southgate making a hasty decision to make it public was to make him look like some sort of strong thinking manager.

When they have to play the world cup thingy and league cup in 2 days, does anyone think that in order to minimise fatigue to the players he will send his reserves to the world cup and keep his first team here for the league cup, because, you know he has to think of the players wellbeing before the wallet?

The fix is deffo in this season, no way will they be allowed to do their usual implosion, the refs and VAR will drag them over the line.
I said this before. They have mastered the way to use var in their favour.
They know what they can get away with and how to get decisions to work in their favour.
The refs just swing some decisions against them just to mix it up a bit like firminios armpit etc.
