All the divvies who last week during the Scab Club's putsch were saying "FSG will be forced out by us" are now meekly asking for FSG to just govern more democratically and spend a few quid more.

I expect that climbdown off media whores like Carragher and Aldridge...and no doubt Souness and Murphy will join 'Cara' soon in welcoming Henry et al back into the fold...but that fan group of their's, the Spirit of Shankly, have been completely found out for the paper tigers they are.

Using the situation to try and get one of their own a cushy spot in the boardroom where they'll be given the runaround but get a boss seat to watch the game.

As I think I said last week, this will be messier andmore divisive than the H & G stuff.

The sort of garbage Aldo wrote there was how it started for them though. Atone for your mistakes by giving them even more money. I don't think FSG will be playing that game though.

I have been entirely clear on my Everton support, allegiances since day one here and because I have argued against grain of the echochamber three times, I must be a red, despite trying to provide a case of logic to each of them & each time, my predictions going on to be proved correct. Funny that

My reason for more posts outside of the Everton pages is simply there is more debate, its not an echochamber, whether it be on rules, general football , finance or other clubs. Anyone suggesting I must be a red for posting in the Liverpool thread should be reminded it has almost 3,000 pages so I suspect you can make that case against almost anyone here.

I remember under Hodgson and 1 season of mid table attendences were down at 30k. It would be exactly the same.

It really would we probably all kbkw someone who wasn’t really in to football didn’t even no who they supported never ever talked about it when Ricky lambert was up front.

These same people became kopite super fans been to every game season ticket in the kop the season they won the champions league. They will all go away again some already are with this season that’s how bad they are. Worst fans in the world.

No real problem with @number4. I'm sure he's a solid gold lad.

Was actually overjoyed to be able to crack a joke based on boating lakes and boat hire more than anything.

A shame it triggered a huge over-reaction, imho.

The Kopites are utterly cynical: they know FSG have presided over a club pulling in more cash than ever and know that more ownership change is fraught with danger.

The outcome of this will be a captain and manager 2 million each to the good in their bank accounts; a Kopite commentariat wooed by Henry et al with trips to Boston; and a fan on the board....ie a member of SoS being given a title like 'Fans Super Dooper Liason Officer', with absolute zero input on decision making.

As a fan base they gave Hodgson zero games. There was no support for him whatsoever from day one. We even gave Allardyce more backing than that. When Klopp leaves if the new manager doesn’t challenge for the title immediately they’ll hound him out. Klopp was in a fortunate position of following Hodgson and Rodgers who overall apart from one season had been poor. That gave him time to build, plus he had the hipster zany quasi religious edge that they all worship for some reason. Whoever follows Klopp is on a hiding to nothing unless he delivers immediately. If it’s a British manager he may as well not even bother turning up, they won’t have him,

For my education how does this work with FFP?

I won't pretend to understand what these payments are but in principle surely an owner can't transfer losses to themselves as though it didn't happen, or else surely farhad could do the same every year and keep us golden?

Grateful for someone who knows more to explain it.

I'm amazed they havent tried that Bantustan type policy, as you know theyd sell their soul for a bit of that.

I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure of the legality of it, but it appears yet another loophole of FFP.

In essence rather than declare a loss theyve taken a 150m loan, counted that as cash and so its only 50m.
