ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

That talk of points deduction for the Scab 6 didn't last long did it?
Why didn't Leicester, West Ham and us try to make it happen?
Because we look to be going down the route of saying "we will spend what we want now, and you can't punish us as you haven't punished them" by the sounds of Carlos comments. If they can't enforce one rule, how can they enforce any others such as financial fair play.

Never underestimate the football authorities when I comes to the lack of even handed punishments - Naisse's diving ban springs to mind.
You can guarantee we would become the first top flight team relegated via points deductions for breach of financial fair play.

In December they were winning the league by 10 points after smashing Palace.
Don't let the media narrative fool you
From where they were its a very poor season.
A complete fall off.

They haven't come close to challenging for any competition they were in this season.

I'll be disappointed if they qualify for the Champions League because of what it would do for their finances without, but it doesn't cover up what a woeful season this has been for them.

From the start of a so called new dynasty beginning I think it more likely they'll be a side there or thereabouts in the race for the top four in the coming years.

Spot on. Finishing top 4 for them now is been painted as a remarkable achievement. They will be around 30 points off the last 2 seasons total. Yet its seen as a good season. If most clubs dropped off that much they would be seen as been a huge failure.

What's fundamentally changed? They'll slip up against Palace.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, I guess you follow this philosophy and then when you are right on those 2 occasions it is a glorious 'told you so' moment, completely forgetting the other 22 time you were wrong.

You are like the anti Lawrenson in the prediction game, which I suppose is not necessarily a bad thing :)

Talksport giving it the 'what an absolutely amazing achievement if Liverpool get top 4'
"with all the injuries they've had it will be fantastic achievement"
Every last one of them following this agenda, it winds me up no end.
The fact that every one of the scab 6 should be pilloried by the press and all they're getting is support and ass licking.
