Liverpool transfer window in trouble.

They're looking to bring in £80M-£100M through player sales; a lot of that will be through sales of peripheral younger British players as well as the likes of Minamino and Shaqiri. The issue is that to have a large squad of 25 they need to also have 8 home grown...which said transfer budgeting is snookering. So they'll either have to sell and replace home grown by limititing themselves to home grown (players already in the country and playing here for more than 3 seasons whatever the nationality) or stick with a lot of those players they'd like to get shut of, or Klopp will have to demand more cash from FSG.

I wouldn't mind betting they'll go with a smaller squad and lower their horizons for 2021/22.
 
Just been listening to that Tony Scott podcast where he's debating Benitez with Carragher.

What a charlatan Carragher is: telling Evertonians Everton are a kick and run club. Ild have thought Scott would have reminded him who the historic team of kick and run is in the city and what Liverpool have been about for the past decade from Benitez's sides banging the ball downfield for Torres, to Rodger's team hoofing it for Suarez, to Klopp's team hoofing it long for Saha.

Got off with murder that squeaky voiced get.

The thing with Carragher is we all know deep down Everton is his team, so he has to.play to the masses when talking football to keep his red image up, to me he comes across as very insincere
 

Probably already common knowledge amongst those following all things RS but backing up what's being said about next season's transfers.
Some of their customers in arms about Origi being retained next season on a contract extension. Pointing out that his only goal last season was in a 7-0 rout of mighty Lincoln. Saying its a travesty he's hanging around.
