Watching him for Barcelona and Inter before that first injury was watching football being played like i've never seen before. Maradona will always be the greatest i've ever seen, but the speed in which Ronaldo played, doing things with the football in the blink of an eye was utterly mesmerizing. Unstoppable. At that age was just wonderful to watch.

He was still fantastic after the injuries mind but yeah, those injuries stopped him short of being the GOAT. Shame.

That season and at Barca was a joy to watch , as a kid I was just mesmerised by it
 

Made up but this is the difference between is and them....
I've left my mates to it, no gloating, no taking the pee as I'd hate to lose a final..
