ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

He's far more one footed compared to the other two, which means a smart team would show him onto his weaker foot and limit his opportunities to cut inside.

With the likely loss of both Mane and Salah within a year, if not earlier, there will be a lot of pressure on Diaz and Jota to carry them with Firmino.

Firmino Salah Mane was just perfectly balanced. If we ignore my thoughts on whether their levels have been artificially enhanced or not, what’s undeniable is that all three can link play. Nearly all three are pretty much two footed, but Mane and Salah are both stronger on the foot they cut inside on and can cross a ball with either foot. To add to that Firmino and Mane are annoyingly good in the air for players of that size.

Considering PSG can’t get Messi Neymar Mbappe to work together effectively I think it’s a pretty big assumption to think that three new players will just recreate that sort of link up play again easily. Dias looks ok and has scored a few but is he going to be hitting 20 plus and also getting a load of assists each season? Will they find a left footed player to replace Salah who can also score individual worldies and is good on his right foot?

Will be very difficult to replace these players and they’ll have to hope they find another Suarez type. From what I’ve seen of Jota and Diaz so far neither are at that world class level. Just need Klopp to throw all his budget at a Traore, Harvey Barnes, Sarr, type who would cost a load but would just be a decent winger and nothing more.

Me personally think he is the real deal, quality, and probably the reason why Mane is being allowed to leave without a fight it seems
I have my reservations.

Without two big guns like Mane and Salah to play off he'll look a bit flmsy and lightweight IMO.

Fair enough, but you know the ones that will get away with this are the scummy ticket touts and the the scum "fans" who tried to use fake tickets, for every fake ticket that gets them in, it means one fan who's got a genuine ticket is denied entry. The rats jumping over the fences should have been pepper sprayed, but we have all seen the use of pepper spray used indiscriminately against people not even looking at them. That was cowardly and disgusting from the French Police.
It's unfortunate but it's what the French police do. I've suffering the effects while sitting in bars in Paris and Nice because someone kicked off at other bars and it drifted in the wind. Sad that a relative few (if you are looking at 40,000+ kopites) who were there had to suffer for the actions of the fakers and bunkers in,but they and the media are using it to try to whitewash their guilt. Remember as unpleasant as it is to be effected by tear gas, nobody died. There are supporters in Italy who won't be showing much sympathy.

I disliked UEFA with a passion for years. They're a corrupt, dodgy organisation not fit for purpose.

I've never forgave them for their knee-jerk reaction at banning everyone post-Heysel within 4 days of the tragedy which was backed by the then Tory government. UEFA should've faced sanctions themselves for choosing a crumbling, dilapidated, athletics ground that was not fit to host a game of such magnitude when there was plenty of better options at their disposal.

Just an organisation rotten to the core.
