Yeah utterly ridiculous. David Silva left without so much as a whimper and he was one of the best players the PL has ever seen, same as Aguero. Mane wasn’t even the best player at Liverpool.

He’s gone purely for the ballon dor in my view. If he wins the CL with Bayern and he’s the main man upfront he’s got a good chance of getting it. At Liverpool no matter what he did they are utterly obsessed with Salah and Van Dijk , and even in the second half of last season when he carried their front line they were all creaming themselves over a few deflected goals from Diaz instead. He’s been one of their best players since he arrived but it’s not reflected in the clubs pay structure or with fan worship. No wonder he’s off.
