ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Schedule a home friendly against a French team on a Sunday night, 24 hours after winning the season curtain raiser, fans expecting to see some of their heroes get a run out at Anfield for the first time since May but instead get Old Man Milner, Gomez, Konate, Elliott, Carvalho and a bunch of U21 no marks and go 3-0 down in 21 minutes

Klopp will say it's about gaining fitness for the players before the season and the opportunity to see all players, but let's not forget all those gate receipts.

Christian Eriksen (21 minutes), Donny Van De Beek (21 minutes) and James Garner (1 minute) all featured in United’s game in Oslo yesterday and played today against Vallecano. Tom Heaton, Alex Telles and Lisandro were unused subs but all played today after flying back. Should be no excuse for any of the RS players that played any part of yesterday not to feature today

In a couple of weeks it will be a cry about too many games. The media will all nod their heads like the loyal puppy dogs they are, completely forgetting this extra friendly and the one that apparently is being played the day after the Fulham game?

Forgot they were playing, just read that they boo’d the national anthem. What’s that all about, I mean I know most of them are foreigners anyway, but really what is this about…..
It's another of their desperate attempts to 'be more scouse' ticking all the telly scouse boxes.
I honestly can't understand what most of them are saying.
That Paddy Pringle sounds like Joey Boswell for god's sake.
